Questions people ask first
Are these real 313A exam questions?
No. Every question is original and unofficial. None is a real, recalled or leaked exam question. Questions are written against the public Red Seal task list so they cover the same work, not the same wording.
Is Examen Studio affiliated with Red Seal or Skilled Trades Ontario?
No. It is an independent study tool. It uses the public Red Seal breakdown to organise practice and says so.
Who writes and checks the questions?
Questions and explanations are written by people from public sources and standard trade practice. Before anything is sold, the bank has to be reviewed by a certified 313A mechanic. The current preview bank is a draft that has not had that review yet, and it is labelled that way everywhere.
Will this tell me whether I will pass?
No. It shows correct out of answered for each work area, and which areas to work on next. Nobody outside the exam body can honestly predict a pass.
What happens to my voice recordings?
A recording is sent for transcription and then discarded. Audio and transcripts are never stored. We keep only which checklist points you covered, the score and the date.
What if I deny microphone access?
You can type your answer instead. Typed answers are checked against the same checklist.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It is built for phones first. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can start a diagnostic on your phone and finish it on a laptop.
How much does it cost?
Free during the preview. After expert review, 313A Founding Access will be C$49 one time for 90 days, with a seven-day refund. The sample and the diagnostic stay free.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from the account page. Deletion removes your learning history and signs you out everywhere. You can export your data first.
I am a certified 313A mechanic. Can I help review?
Yes, and it would be paid work. A reviewer contact address is being set up and will be posted on this page.
